1-What is LOST.DIR folder?








It is a folder which is present in External or SD card(Memory Card) storage. You may have observed that when you delete this folder it comes back again after restarting your phone.

2-What is its use?

It is used when you download something in your phone from any browser or any other place if it gets stopped or your phone gets switched off. It stores the copy of the file(downloading file) in that folder. so if you want to again start the download you can again start from there.




3-Why it cannot be deleted?

It cannot be deleted because it is present in the memory card, so it is important because it stores the necessary file when needed.
